Building Permits

Anyone wishing to erect a new building of any kind, or who wishes to add to an existing building, within the Aberdeen city limits that costs more than $500.00 needs to file a building permit with Aberdeen City Hall. Residents should also check with city officials before building, installing, adding to or remodeling any kind of permanent structures (ie. fences, sheds, greenhouses, etc.) to be sure that they are in accordance with the city's set back and zoning ordinances.

Clicking on the buttons at the right will open up a copy of the City of Aberdeen's Building Permit or a piece of graph paper on which to copy building plans. Any questions regarding building permits should be directed to the City Clerk during regular business hours as indicated on the City of Aberdeen's Contact Information Web Page.

Note: A PDF editor is required to view the Building Permit and Graph Paper files. If you do not have a PDF editor you may download one by clicking on one of the links below.
